Problem

Current Rapid Rounds rely on manual note-taking, fragmented communication, and limited patient input, leading to inefficiencies and missed information.

Key Insights

Clinicians resist switching to new processes.
Learners (medical students) lack engagement opportunities.
Responsibility to share key info often falls on individuals.
Patient stories get lost in the fast pace.

Proposed Solution

A digital dashboard integrated with EMR (Dovetale) to:

Capture patient voice and discharge milestones.
Enable interdisciplinary communication.
Assign and track care-team tasks.
Improve visibility of real-time updates.

Outcome

A re-designed Rapid Rounds experience that promotes:

Efficiency in decision-making.
Transparency in roles and responsibilities.
Empathy through patient inclusion.
